We learned that the precise name of the virus was COVID19.
It all started in China. It was terrible news to hear or watch but China was after all still far away….
Soon, IT struck Italy then infected the European Union, one country after the other.
Soon IT arrived in Britain, progressing from the South of the Island and arriving in quick time in Scotland where I live.

A PANDEMIC STATUS was declared officially.
People started to be frightened then sick then very ill then hospitalised, then many died.
Start of a sheer nightmare we had never encountered before.
